CAFE SJIEK

Café Sjiek has won the heart of many locals with their fresh, simple dishes from Maastricht and the region. This Café was founded in 1982 and has become an essential part of Maastricht. Sjiek has a large outdoor terrace in the historic city park.

SJIEK KOOKPUNT

Sjiek Kookpunt once started as a shop next to Café Sjiek but has been located in the Wyck district for many years now. The Sjiek Kookpunt serves pure, small dishes inspired by Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Dining is possible on Friday and Saturday evening.

Pinchos! Traditional tapas from the bask region. You can find a wide range of these delicacies displayed on the buffet inside. On the terrace, you can enjoy the last sun of the day and a great view. Look out over the river Maas and the old Sint Servaas bridge while enjoying your food or just a drink. XO is operated by Dennis van der Meer and Charlotte Giliam from the well-known fish restaurant “O” in the Rechtstraat.

IL BACARO

Il bacaro is located on the corner of the famous Vrijthof-square and is great for an Italian evening in Maastricht. As a ‘cucina e bar (bar and kitchen), you can go there for a drink, a big, or a small bite.

PAKHOES

Here you can enjoy Belgian-French haute cuisine with a worldly touch. Chef Guidy Wolfs, his wife Yvonne and their son Yves serve dishes for gourmets and Burgundians in their fine restaurant at the old Waterpoort in the heart of Maastricht.

CAFÉ ZUID

Maybe the best terrace location in Maastricht.. You can sink into a beach chair on the waters’edge, or grab a table on the terrace. Enjoy a beautiful view of the park, the river and people strolling by. It’s a bit like taking a mini holiday!

BRANDSØN

Brandson is a combination of a cocktail bar and dining room situated right by the river. Enjoy a great View of Wyck and the Sint Servaas bridge. The wine list is extensive and the food finds its roots in Scandinavia. Make sure you also have a look inside, the place is beautiful!

VINO & FRIENDS

Although this terrace may not have the perfect view, you are sitting a pretty special place. The picturesque “Achter the thermen” square is located in one of the oldest parts of town and yet is quiet and tranquil. They serve a wide variety of Italian foods and an great array of wines at a very reasonable price.

HARRY’S

Harry’s is an international brasserie which is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and for brunch on Sundays. They offer timeless brasserie classics prepared using the very best ingredients. Harry’s serves unpretentious food and beverages in a relaxed, comfortable setting.
